# Account & Data Deletion

> How to delete your MeiGen account and personal data. Email support@meigen.ai to request account deletion, data removal, or to close your account (GDPR / CCPA).

You can ask us to delete your MeiGen account and the personal data associated with it at any time.

## How to Request Deletion

Email **[support@meigen.ai](mailto:support@meigen.ai)** from the email address registered on your account, with the subject **"Account Deletion Request"**.

To help us verify and process your request quickly, please include:

* The email address (or sign-in method) used for your account
* A short confirmation that you want the account and its data permanently deleted

We verify that the request comes from the account owner before any data is removed. Verified requests are processed within 30 days.

## What Gets Deleted

Once processed, we permanently remove:

* Your account and profile
* Your generation history and uploaded reference images
* Your favorites and saved collections
* Personal data tied to your account

<Warning>
  Deletion is **permanent and cannot be undone**. Your generated images, history, and any remaining credits are removed and cannot be restored. If you have purchased credits you'd like resolved, mention it in your email before we proceed.

## Just Want to Stop Emails?

If you only want to stop receiving marketing emails (not delete your account), click the **unsubscribe** link at the bottom of any MeiGen email. Your account and generations stay intact.
